  Firstly the good, lodge 21 is in a great location, walk across the carpark at smiggins and your at the lifts. The food was top notch, dinner includes entree, main and dessert- all very tasty if not a little small by Smiggins lodge standards, even my wife walked away satisfied but a little hungry.
  
  The lodge is in serious need of some TLC. But thats to be expected for the price and the age of the lodge didnt worry us. What did worry us was the heating or lack of in the rooms. It was seriously freezing in there, with old windows that blow the curtains around ,thats how much cold air was coming into the room.
  The bathrooms are in need of a good clean, but this doesnt surprise me after meeting the lodge manager , he seemed more concerned with getting over the the pub then greeting and caring about the guests.
  The manager has a lack of respect for the customers, one night he was still up at midnight with his mates (not staying at the lodge) drinking, talking loud, laughing and so on. Im not against anyone having a good time but after a long drive, big days skiing, being kept awake by drunken behavior is flat out rude. When we asked them to please keep the noise down, we were sarcastically talked to by one of the managers friends "please dont tell the manager", who was sitting there with them. Poor form.
  Would i stay there again? NO. For a couple of extra $$ i would stay at another lodge where that value and respect their customers.
